This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the implementation and technical support for the CGT Technologies portfolio’s software application at client locations.
• Assist in pre-sales technical consultations, assess customer requirements and technical environments, conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and respond to requests for information or proposals.
• Outline implementation scope, system prerequisites, responsibilities, dependencies, risks, and criteria for completion.
• Create and oversee implementation plans that encompass installation preparation, configuration, system integration, testing, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with customer IT, automation engineering, MSAT, Quality, and other technical stakeholders to coordinate implementation activities.
• Convert technical requirements into solutions for system configuration, user access, connected devices, external-system interfaces, reporting, and workflows.
• Work in partnership with Business Development, Account Executives, FAS, Field Service, Technical Support, Engineering, Quality, and other internal teams.
• Provide updates on project status, convey technical decisions, identify risks or delays, and coordinate corrective measures.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to installation, configuration, integration, connectivity, and performance.
• Assist customers with testing, validation, change control, and acceptance activities by providing technical information and documentation.
• Engage in customer technical support initiatives.
• Maintain records of implementations, project status, technical decisions, configurations, risks, and follow-up actions within company systems and CRM.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to Global Product Management.
• Represent the company at meetings with customers and during business events.
• Travel up to 10% for customer implementations and to meet business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in software implementation, systems administration, systems integration, technical support, or a related area.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles implementing, integrating, or supporting software systems in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing settings.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Windows Server environments, Microsoft SQL Server, databases, web applications, and report generation.
• Basic understanding of networking, Wi-Fi, remote-access technologies, VPNs, firewalls, HTTPS/TLS, and troubleshooting system connectivity.
• Knowledge of user accounts, role-based permissions, Active Directory, certificates, and web-server management.
• Experience with web interfaces, APIs, and integration with enterprise or manufacturing systems.
• Prior experience with computerized system validation, change control, cybersecurity, and familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 or EU Annex 11 requirements is preferred.
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to handle multiple customer implementations, priorities, and project dependencies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% based on business requirements.
• Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English.
