Technical Field Engineer – International Commissioning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning and further enhancement of specialized systems in the dosing technology sector, concentrating on the DACH region and Europe.

• Offering ongoing remote support for the relevant systems in collaboration with external specialist contractors.

• Enhancing control-system performance at customer locations while providing technical consulting assistance.

• Overseeing small to medium-sized projects within the specified area.

• Assisting the Sales team with tailored customer requirements.

• Creating control diagrams and evaluating specifications.

• Drafting functional specifications for control-system enhancements to be executed by external partners.

• Carrying out supplier acceptance tests.

• Coordinating internal trials to optimize specialized systems.

• Testing loaned machines upon their return from customers and ensuring they are operationally ready.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical training in electrical engineering or automation technology.

• Professional experience in the construction and commissioning of small to medium-sized specialized machines.

• Proficiency in programming PLC systems using TIA Portal.

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell systems is advantageous.

• Experience in providing remote support.

• Solid understanding of standard safety technology utilized in machine and plant engineering.

• Knowledge in control engineering is a plus.

• Customer-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a well-organized, deadline-driven manner.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical mindset.

• Willingness to travel, primarily within the DACH region and Europe.

• Proficient technical English skills.

• Capability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
