This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Assess the technical viability of AI infrastructure prospects throughout the Americas prior to Nebius making capital commitments.
• Oversee multidisciplinary engineering due diligence for powered land and build-to-suit projects.
• Collaborate with Site Selection, Engineering, Energy, Legal, and Project Development teams to pinpoint technical risks, evaluate development feasibility, and aid investment decisions.
• Drive multidisciplinary technical due diligence for powered land, build-to-suit, and various strategic infrastructure initiatives.
• Establish the requirements for engineering, environmental, geotechnical, surveying, utility, and entitlement studies necessary for assessing potential sites.
• Acquire, manage, and coordinate external engineering and technical consultants from scope definition to final recommendations.
• Analyze technical results and offer development recommendations to support acquisition choices.
• Compile technical due diligence reports and convey risks, limitations, and suggestions to executive leadership.
• 5–10 years of experience in leading technical due diligence, site development, civil engineering, land development, infrastructure design, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultants.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigations, environmental assessments, zoning, entitlements, utility coordination, permitting, and infrastructure development.
• Capability to interpret engineering studies and convert technical findings into business recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting hyperscale data center, AI infrastructure, or mission-critical developments.
• Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, or a comparable technical certification.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure acquisition or development initiatives.
