Technical Due Diligence Consultant

📋 Description

• Perform technical due diligence, which includes reviewing project documentation, evaluating risks, and considering regulatory and economic factors.

• Collect and analyze pertinent data, industry trends, and best practices to assist in project evaluations.

• Offer subject matter expertise regarding policy frameworks, stakeholder relationships, or technical viability.

• Collaborate with project teams, partners, and stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.

• Attend site visits when required, aiding in interviews, meetings, and field assessments.

• Produce detailed written reports and recommendations derived from research and analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical due diligence, impact assessments, or feasibility studies.

• Proficiency in one or more areas: Biomass sourcing; Afforestation / Reforestation / Revegetation (ARR); Agroforestry; Improved Forest Management (IFM); Biochar.

• Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Previous experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Knowledge of relevant country- and region-specific policies related to land tenure, carbon rights, and Article 6 is a bonus.

• Capability to work autonomously and meet deadlines within a project-based setting.
