This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Develop and uphold documentation standards across both IT and OT.
• Create templates for policies, standards, procedures, work instructions, and architectural documents.
• Ensure adherence to document version control and approval workflows.
• Conduct regular reviews of documentation for precision and compliance.
• Document network architectures, topology diagrams, IP allocation standards, and connectivity models.
• Maintain infrastructure inventory documentation.
• Create deployment guides and implementation playbooks.
• Document solutions for cloud, servers, firewalls, wireless, and OT connectivity.
• Develop standard operating procedures and incident response runbooks.
• Document change management processes.
• Produce documentation for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Support the documentation of cybersecurity controls and requirements.
• Ensure documentation aligns with NIST, Purdue, ISA/IEC 62443, and corporate standards.
• Assist in collecting audit evidence and compiling compliance reports.
• Develop project technical specifications, installation guides, cutover plans, training materials, and knowledge transfer documents.
• Support lessons learned and conduct post-implementation reviews.
• Manage SharePoint documentation repositories.
• Establish document taxonomies and standards for searchability.
• Enhance the accessibility and usability of technical information.
• Develop onboarding documentation for infrastructure staff.
• Collaborate with Network Operations, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Engineering, Service Management, and Manufacturing Technology teams to convert intricate technical concepts into clear documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing.
• Strong grasp of IT infrastructure concepts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Visio, and Office applications.
• Experience in documenting networking environments is preferred.
• Experience in OT/manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Understanding of network architecture, cybersecurity, and systems administration is preferred.
• Familiarity with Fortinet products is preferred.
• Knowledge of NIST and Purdue frameworks is preferred.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Nebraska, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
