This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform a comprehensive audit of the technology stack, value streams from start to finish, and system interdependencies within the initial 30 days.
• Foster trust and accountability through transparent communication on Slack and during meetings.
• Participate in weekly Product L10 meetings and Rock Out sessions.
• Create a strategy for the professional development and expansion of the technical team, reducing direct reliance on the director.
• Ensure platform stability and system reliability through ongoing monitoring and proactive problem-solving.
• Act as an escalation point for urgent technical issues while adhering to support SLAs and system performance metrics.
• Mentor direct reports through weekly one-on-one meetings, KPI assistance, recognition of achievements, and addressing performance or workflow challenges.
• Implement remediation strategies for high-priority technical debt.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture centered around ownership and psychological safety.
• Monitor ticket volumes and time dedicated to bugs, features, and technical debt.
• Collaborate with Operations to automate manual processes.
• Deliver 2–5 technology integrations or onboarding sessions each week.
• Over 5 years of practical technical experience in software engineering, integrations, and technical operations.
• A minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with third-party integrations and complex distributed systems.
• Familiarity with warehousing, logistics, and/or e-commerce platforms and sectors.
• Experience in project management and agile methodologies.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• High emotional intelligence and a demonstrated history of achieving results under pressure.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in TypeScript and NodeJS.
• Significant experience in data analytics, especially with SQL.
• Experience with supply chain technologies (OMS, WMS, TMS).
