Technical Delivery Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of SPHEREboard, SPHERE’s identity intelligence platform.

• Direct a team of technical engineers, support personnel, engineering staff, subcontractors, and resources assigned by clients.

• Act as the primary liaison for clients from project initiation to go-live.

• Organize and manage implementations, version updates, and environment migrations.

• Assist clients in preparing their infrastructure, which includes permissions, network access, and database sizing.

• Set up, optimize, and troubleshoot SPHEREboard integrations and scans.

• Verify identity data across directory, HR, and CMDB sources.

• Conduct pilot remediation efforts to configure and showcase SPHEREboard's remediation capabilities.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams regarding client requirements and priorities.

• Mentor and develop the delivery team; establish goals, responsibilities, and growth plans.

• Anticipate capacity needs across simultaneous projects and ensure client commitments are met.

• Enhance delivery processes using playbooks, readiness checklists, reusable scripts, configurations, and reliable timelines.

• Set criteria for project completion and facilitate the transition of clients to ongoing support with appropriate documentation and approvals.

• Monitor and enhance delivery metrics such as production timelines and upgrade cycle durations.

• Oversee subcontracted and partner delivery resources, managing hours, budgets, technical quality, and change control.

• Empower clients through training and knowledge transfer initiatives.

• Foster strong relationships with both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Identify potential risks, articulate their business implications, and propose solutions.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support teams to align objectives and address challenges.

• Review Statements of Work (SOWs), effort estimates, scope, and change orders while supporting expansion opportunities.

• Provide updates on progress and delivery metrics to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in identity security or infrastructure, with at least 5 years in delivering identity programs (PAM, IGA, or Active Directory).

• Background in a services or customer delivery role within an enterprise software firm, involved in implementing or upgrading the company's own product.

• Proven experience as a player-coach, leading engineers and/or project managers while remaining hands-on in client settings.

• Proficient in Active Directory, LDAP, Entra, Windows, UNIX/Linux, databases, file systems, AWS, Azure, CyberArk, SailPoint, and ServiceNow CMDB.

• In-depth practical knowledge in at least two areas, preferably Active Directory along with PAM or IGA.

• Familiarity with privileged access, effective permissions, and account ownership concepts.

• Comfortable working with PowerShell scripts and SQL queries.

• Proven track record in standardizing delivery processes through playbooks, templates, or tools.

• Understanding of SOWs, time and materials versus fixed fee arrangements, and change orders.

• Ability to translate technical challenges into business risks and educate client technical teams.

• Experience in navigating complex enterprise stakeholder environments and achieving consensus.

• Must be located in the U.S. Eastern or Central time zone and willing to travel to client locations as necessary.

• Preferred: Former identity engineer or architect who transitioned into delivery management.

• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.

• Preferred: Experience in regulated sectors such as financial services, utilities, or healthcare.

• Preferred: Experience in delivering third-party commercially available software in both SaaS and self-hosted environments.
