Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of software development projects, defining the project scope, objectives, and technical deliverables.

• Develop delivery plans that are in sync with software release cycles.

• Collaborate directly with software engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.

• Manage activities throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, integration, and deployment.

• Identify dependencies among applications, systems, and teams.

• Proactively recognize technical and delivery risks, coordinating necessary actions to address any blockers.

• Serve as a liaison between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, including US engineering teams.

• Report on project progress, risks, and dependencies while providing clear updates on delivery status and milestones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing technical software projects.

• Background in delivering initiatives throughout the complete Software Development Lifecycle.

• Direct experience working with software engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and system integrations.

• Familiarity with APIs and the dependencies between enterprise applications.

• Experience in coordinating development, testing, and deployment activities.

• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Strong skills in risk and dependency management.

• Experience collaborating with product and architecture teams.

• Proficient in using Jira and similar project management tools.

• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps delivery methodologies.

• Experience working with international or distributed teams.

• Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting abilities.

• Capability to independently manage complex technical initiatives.

• Proficient in English.

• Flexibility to support US teams, occasionally until 19:00 Polish time.

• Nice to have: Experience in payments, fintech, or banking.

• Nice to have: Experience in delivering payment technology applications.

• Nice to have: Experience with large enterprise software platforms.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.

• Nice to have: Experience with microservices and API integrations.

• Nice to have: PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certification.

• Nice to have: Cloud, DevOps, or software delivery certifications.
