This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Deliver on-site technical support and service operations at customer sites throughout the North-West Piedmont area.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair the company's equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and systems.
• Document service activities, maintenance procedures, and technical observations.
• Manage and prioritize customer service requests to fulfill service commitments.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to pinpoint service opportunities and meet revenue and budget objectives.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers.
• Offer technical support and basic user training.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service inventory.
• Identify recurring problems and suggest enhancements to product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Travel approximately 70–80% within the assigned North-West Piedmont territory.
• Electrician or electrical engineer or equivalent educational background and work experience, preferably in the packaging sector.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in industrial service or equipment installation is required.
• Experience in PLC troubleshooting is essential.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Solid understanding of electromechanical, electronic, computer, and network-based systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation, manuals, and service procedures effectively.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Italian and English.
• Capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced field environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SAP C4C, and other service management and CRM tools.
• Ability to collaborate with Technical Support, Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies, products, and procedures.
• Ability to identify service business opportunities while assisting customers in the field.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays and occasional international travel.
• Ability to support customers outside the designated territory based on business needs.
