This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Assess, implement, conduct unit tests, troubleshoot, and provide support for software solutions tailored to business and operational needs.
• Periodically specialize in multi-vendor platforms, security, manageability, performance, consumer flow, transactions, maintenance operations, and message formats.
• Anticipate the needs of internal and external clients while upholding a commitment to client satisfaction.
• Analyze, install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications.
• Perform functional analysis of requirements and evaluate the implementation effort in customer environments.
• Configure foundational software in customer settings.
• Execute unit tests, monitor issues, and implement changes as per test plans and functional specifications.
• Identify, isolate, and resolve system failures resulting from software code errors.
• Set acceptance criteria and establish quality objectives.
• Provide estimates, objectives, standards, constraints, and dependencies as contributions to statements of work and software development plans.
• Conduct quality assurance during end-to-end testing processes.
• Oversee the analysis and resolution of software issues reported during testing phases.
• Prepare software for distribution to customers or networks.
• Ensure successful installation through software distribution, bare-metal installation, and local updates.
• Assist the field organization during lab installations, certifications, and training sessions.
• Lead the analysis and resolution of software issues identified during customer acceptance testing.
• Support and address production issues escalated by Level 3 Support.
• Create hot fixes and conduct integration tests prior to delivery to quality assurance.
• Experience in the ATM or kiosk self-service sector.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, information systems, or another technical field.
• Proven technical project leadership capability in organizing project resources.
• Familiarity with Microsoft operating system technologies, particularly Windows 10 and Windows 7.
• Experience in installing and supporting hardware devices and their drivers.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring Windows applications.
• Experience in troubleshooting network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, Internet Information Services, and remote access.
• Understanding of client/server application architectures.
• Experience in creating and leading group presentations, conducting web seminars, and public speaking engagements.
• Willingness to work shifts as needed.
