Senior Supplier Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing supplier relationships, operationalizing supplier processes, and overseeing supplier data for Allstate and National General.

• Act as a liaison between supplier partners and internal business teams.

• Assess supplier solutions and suggest value-added, cost-effective strategies that align with business goals.

• Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with suppliers to enhance engagement and performance.

• Facilitate problem-solving and the sharing of information between business units and supplier partners.

• Analyze supplier data, market trends, and product performance to discover opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate initiatives for supplier product testing and assessment.

• Work alongside Sourcing and Procurement teams to optimize supplier contracts, data, and services.

• Enhance analytics capabilities and improve transparency of supplier data.

• Create, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions utilizing Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and related technologies.

• Track supplier performance and relay actionable insights to business leaders.

• Convert analytical findings into business strategies that promote profitable growth and expansion of market share.

• Clearly and compellingly communicate complex concepts.

• Influence stakeholders and promote the adoption of new processes, technologies, and innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in supplier management, business consulting, analytics, procurement, insurance, or a similar field.

• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.

• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and relationship management.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and foster cross-functional collaboration.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Must undergo a background investigation.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.

• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, equipped with suitable desk and seating.
