Technical Consultant, FlexPLM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design and create customizations, extensions, and system integrations for FlexPLM.

• Write and uphold clean, efficient code utilizing Java/JSP and associated technologies.

• Diagnose, debug, and enhance current FlexPLM environments.

• Perform gap analyses.

• Assist in data migration and integration initiatives.

• Evaluate client data models and provide guidance on effective data preparation and cleansing practices.

• Independently install, set up, and integrate PLM software solutions.

• Work collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients.

• Aid in software testing, performance enhancement, and continuous system maintenance.

• Deliver effective and scalable PLM solutions tailored for retail clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of technical experience with PTC FlexPLM, encompassing customizations, upgrades, and integrations.

• Strong programming expertise in Java/JSP.

• Familiarity with VB/VC++, Oracle, or comparable technologies is advantageous.

• Demonstrated capability to develop, support, and maintain enterprise PLM software solutions.

• Experience in system upgrades, data migrations, and performance tuning.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to handle multiple technical projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset.

• Proficiency in working directly with clients and technical teams.

• Ability to troubleshoot intricate issues and support system modifications.
