Technical Consultant, Commercial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical consultant to clients and internal teams during significant implementations and expansion initiatives.

• Provide guidance on integration, configuration, and system architecture.

• Evaluate customer needs and suggest scalable solutions involving ERP, HRIS, and API integrations.

• Assist technical workstreams alongside onboarding specialists and implementation leaders.

• Resolve technical challenges and recommend effective product implementations.

• Engage in technical discovery and advise on the most suitable Ramp architecture, including API utilization.

• Act as a subject matter expert for HRIS and accounting integration partners.

• Address integration obstacles and guide complex configuration choices without directly writing code.

• Contribute to the internal documentation and tools for integration scenarios.

• Relay customer challenges and feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to help shape the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a similar field.

• Over 2 years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a comparable customer-facing technical role, preferably within a SaaS or fintech context.

• Knowledge of ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting processes.

• Proficiency in working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts to finance and operations stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments such as Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.

• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.
