This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver technical support during the sales process, which includes customer discovery, solution formulation, and technical recommendations.
• Perform plant audits, system evaluations, and operational assessments to pinpoint opportunities for performance enhancement.
• Create technical proposals, treatment recommendations, and presentations tailored for customers.
• Diagnose issues with customer systems and treatment programs related to industrial water applications.
• Collaborate with field sales teams throughout the U.S. to bolster strategic initiatives and foster customer loyalty.
• Provide customer training and conduct educational presentations.
• Work in conjunction with internal technical, product, and commercial teams to advance growth initiatives.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive offerings in the field of industrial water treatment.
• Act as a technical consultant and product champion for ChemTreat solutions.
• Assist in the assessment and execution of treatment programs that enhance customer results.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical discipline.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in industrial water treatment, technical service, technical sales, applications engineering, or a comparable industrial technical setting.
• Background in relevant sectors such as food and beverage, power generation, chemical processing, refining, or other industrial environments.
• In-depth technical knowledge in one or more industrial water treatment areas, such as boiler water, cooling water, reverse osmosis, pretreatment, demineralization, wastewater treatment, or clarification.
• Excellent communication, customer interaction, and presentation abilities.
• Capability to articulate technical recommendations effectively to sales teams and clients.
• Willingness and capability to travel 60%–75% of the time, mainly within the continental U.S.
• Experience in technical sales or working closely with commercial teams is preferred.
