Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients regarding Atlassian solutions and assess their requirements

• Conduct research, deliver presentations, and suggest customized solutions for clients

• Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders

• Engage in presales activities, outline project scopes, estimate timelines, and design solutions

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and enhancement initiatives

• Visit client sites and perform on-site work as necessary

• Install, upgrade, and migrate Atlassian applications along with associated technologies

• Design and implement Atlassian solutions, which include workflows, extensions/scripts, and configurations

• Develop scripts using Groovy or Java

• Manage databases and handle requests

• Integrate Atlassian and other applications utilizing web technologies and REST APIs

• Administer both Linux and Windows systems, inclusive of application servers

• Keep updated and enhance knowledge of Atlassian products, related technologies, and collaborative tools like Slack

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in technical consulting, software development, and utilization of Atlassian tools

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or Python

• Experience in system administration (Linux and Windows) and database management

• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills

• Proven experience in presenting tailored solutions to clients based on their specific needs

• Skilled in writing and generating technical reports

• Outstanding organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal abilities

• Possess a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving

• Team-oriented with robust collaboration capabilities

• Self-driven, ambitious, and tenacious

• Experience with web integration leveraging REST APIs is preferred

• Familiarity with gathering and analyzing requirements is preferred

• Experience in a fast-paced, continuously evolving technology startup environment is preferred

• Understanding of non-functional requirements concerning application scalability, availability, and security is preferred
