Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on Atlassian solutions while assessing their requirements.

• Conduct research, deliver presentations, and propose customized solutions for clients.

• Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders.

• Engage in presales initiatives, outline project scopes, estimate timelines, and design solutions.

• Contribute to the enhancement of internal knowledge sharing and best practices.

• Travel to client locations and work on-site as necessary.

• Facilitate the installation, upgrading, and migration of Atlassian applications and associated technologies.

• Design and implement tailored Atlassian solutions, including workflows, extensions/scripts, and configurations.

• Develop scripts using Groovy or Java.

• Manage databases and incoming requests.

• Integrate Atlassian and other applications utilizing web technologies and REST APIs.

• Administer both Linux and Windows systems, including application servers.

• Keep up-to-date with advancements in Atlassian products and related technologies, as well as collaboration tools like Slack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical consulting, software development, and utilizing Atlassian tools.

• Proficiency in writing scripts in Groovy or Python.

• Experience in system administration (Linux and Windows) and database management.

• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

• Capability to present solutions to clients based on their specific needs.

• Experience in writing and generating technical reports.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

• Team-oriented with robust collaboration skills.

• Self-driven, ambitious, and persistent in achieving goals.

• Experience with web integration through REST APIs (preferred).

• Background in gathering and analyzing requirements (preferred).

• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamically evolving technology startup environment (preferred).

• Understanding of non-functional requirements concerning application scalability, availability, and security (preferred).
