Technical Consultant Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive technical support to both functional and technical clients utilizing Huron’s Research Suite software.

• Assist clients via remote web session tools, phone communications, and email correspondence.

• Investigate, assess, and resolve issues reported by clients.

• Recognize product areas that contribute significantly to support challenges and collaborate with Huron Engineering teams to address these issues.

• Modify and sustain current client-specific configurations and customizations.

• Advise clients and Huron Services teams on suitable hardware and software configurations.

• Enhance internal support processes by creating new tools and job aids.

• Work in partnership with various teams across different geographic locations.

• Provide 24/7 on-call support coverage as required.

• Travel occasionally as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is mandatory.

• Bachelor's Degree in a computer science-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficient in reading and writing object-oriented code, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and Java.

• Experience in JavaScript development.

• Familiarity with Microsoft software, such as Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as in remote team settings.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and switch contexts effectively.

• Must be able to consistently work during West Coast business hours (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm PT).

• Availability for occasional off-hours on-call support shifts.

• Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing or internal software support role.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting enterprise-level, multi-tier web applications.

• Preferred: Ability to analyze and interpret various types of logs, including IIS, SMTP, Event Logs, and custom outputs.

• Preferred: Understanding of .NET and C#.

• Preferred: Acquainted with source control concepts.
