This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the EDPlan product, encompassing its configuration, functionality, and the effects of requested modifications.
• Facilitate essential SDLC activities, such as gathering requirements and conducting requirement-review sessions.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, process and flow diagrams, and wireframes or prototypes.
• Manage incident resolution from beginning to end, which includes identifying and escalating issues, coordinating between technical and business teams, and documenting incidents and their outcomes.
• Lead the triage and resolution of defects, which involves logging issues, identifying root causes and fix timelines, verifying solutions, and communicating status until closure.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to plan and implement testing processes and assist with user acceptance testing.
• Act as the primary point of communication with clients regarding defect status, incident updates, and release timelines.
• Assist in product enhancement initiatives, feature configuration, and the implementation or rollout of new features.
• Provide a product-informed perspective during roadmap discussions.
• Prioritize and manage multiple incidents, defects, and project tasks across various products and deadlines.
• Create documentation, release notes, and communications for end-users.
• Facilitate internal training for new features.
• A bachelor's degree, preferably in business, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Strong critical thinking abilities, including the capacity to gather information from various stakeholders, identify discrepancies, and navigate ambiguity during incident or defect investigations.
• Competence in managing multiple simultaneous priorities, including incidents, defects, and project deadlines, while maintaining composure and organization under pressure.
• A sense of curiosity and enthusiasm, demonstrated by a genuine interest in learning about a new product, asking insightful questions, and comprehending not only the product's functionality but also the reasoning behind its operations.
• Confident and articulate communication skills with both clients and technical teams, particularly during high-stakes conversations regarding incidents or defects.
• Good judgment and maturity to determine when to escalate issues or seek help.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities, with the ability to track issues to resolution.
• Two to five years of relevant experience in business analysis, technical support, incident management, or product-related roles.
• Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, Axure RP, Power BI, or SQL is advantageous.
• Previous experience in the education field, experience with education data systems, or related experience is a plus.
