This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Transform innovative concepts into gaming experiences that encapsulate the ambiance, intensity, competition, and excitement of boxing.
• Develop shaders, effects, tools, and systems that enhance the creative potential of artists.
• Operate at the confluence of art, design, and technology.
• Collaborate intimately with the Art Director, Artists, Designers, and Engineers.
• Craft player experiences that feel realistic and immersive.
• Facilitate communication across Art, UI/UX, and Development teams.
• Set standards, benchmarks, and performance budgets for the Art Team.
• Engage in a recruitment process that includes an initial interview, a test, and a technical interview.
• Extensive knowledge of Unity, including import settings, prefabs, materials, rendering, asset pipelines, and content organization.
• Proficiency in modeling, UV mapping, baking, texturing, LODs, rigging/skinning, and preparing assets for real-time environments.
• Capability to create and optimize shaders using Shader Graph/HLSL for 3D assets, UI/2D, and VFX.
• Understanding of atlases, sprites, masking, 9-slice, animated UI, material-based effects, texture optimization, and draw call optimization.
• Experience with CPU/GPU profiling, overdraw, batching, draw calls, memory management, textures, meshes, VFX, shaders, and performance budgets across various mobile device tiers.
• Practical experience with Particle Systems/VFX, shader-based effects, and mobile optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with URP, baked/mixed lighting, lightmaps, probes, post-processing, and balancing visual quality with performance.
• Ability to create simple tools and editor extensions in C# to automate repetitive tasks and validate assets.
• Experience with Frame Debugger, Unity Profiler, RenderDoc, or comparable tools.
• Skill in identifying root causes of visual and performance challenges.
• Proficient in defining standards, benchmarks, and performance budgets for the Art Team.
• Strong understanding of Unity’s Cinemachine camera system, including Virtual Cameras, blending, follow/aim mechanics, dolly/splines, camera shake, and complex camera sequences.
• Practical knowledge of DOTween for UI, cameras, objects, materials, and shader parameters.
• Ability to construct clear animation sequences and optimize them for mobile platforms.
