Senior Motion Designer – Project-Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality motion graphics for live events, web, video, and digital platforms.

• Generate concepts, visual styles, storyboards, and thumbnails to define visual direction, sequencing, and timing.

• Create and animate both 2D and 3D content, including primary creative assets and supplementary graphics.

• Construct adaptable motion systems and editor toolkits, featuring lower thirds, logo animations, transitions, and related components.

• Manage assigned projects from initial concept through to final delivery, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Showcase creative concepts and ongoing work to internal teams and clients.

• Work collaboratively with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers, and editors throughout the creative process.

• Adhere to approved project timelines and budgets, proactively communicating any risks or requirements.

• Investigate and implement modern creative technologies and AI-assisted workflows to enhance the quality of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of pertinent motion design or animation experience in an agency, production, broadcast, events, or similarly fast-paced creative setting.

• Advanced skills in After Effects and strong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with Cinema 4D and 3D motion design workflows.

• Proficiency in Figma and Figma-based design processes.

• Strong design sensibility with the capacity to transform concepts into clear, polished visual systems.

• Ability to animate intricate ideas using contemporary 2D and 3D techniques and software.

• Familiarity with generative AI and emerging creative tools such as Runway, Firefly, Midjourney, ComfyUI, or similar.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to present and discuss work with clients and creative teams.

• Proven ability to independently manage complex projects while closely collaborating with creative leadership and production teams.

• Relevant work samples, portfolio, website, or project examples are required.

• Preferred: Experience in creating motion graphics for live events, broadcast packages, digital signage, product demonstrations, trailers, animated shorts, or editor toolkits.

• Preferred: Advanced expertise in Cinema 4D.

• Preferred: Experience in client-facing roles, presenting creative concepts and ongoing work.

• Preferred: Basic familiarity with PowerPoint and Keynote.
