Technical Analyst – Yardi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Configure and manage Yardi Voyager and RentCafé systems, which includes property setup, user roles, and security protocols.

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 assistance to Yardi users.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and oversee helpdesk ticket management.

• Monitor and ensure data integrity across Yardi modules, particularly for HUD and LIHTC compliance-related information.

• Assist in integrating Yardi with other systems utilizing SQL, Yardi ETL, and Microsoft Fabric or similar tools.

• Create and sustain custom reports using Yardi Spreadsheet Reporter (YSR), SQL, and other reporting instruments.

• Aid in the testing and rollout of Yardi upgrades, patches, and the implementation of new modules.

• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements.

• Document processes, configurations, and data flows to support internal controls and ensure audit readiness.

• Engage in process enhancement initiatives.

• Contribute to training and user engagement efforts.

• Assist in formulating policies and problem-solving methodologies.

• Report resident or client complaints and allegations of abuse, misappropriation, or compliance concerns to the appropriate supervisors.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Yardi Voyager (7S or newer) and RentCafé in a technical or support capacity within the Affordable Housing industry is required.

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and report generation is preferred.

• Experience with Yardi ETL processes and system integrations is preferred.

• Understanding of property management and accounting workflows.

• Familiarity with RentCafe and other Yardi modules, such as PayScan and Maintenance.

• Knowledge of Affordable Housing compliance workflows, including HUD, LIHTC, and TRACS.

• Familiarity with additional Yardi modules, such as Maintenance IQ, PayScan, and Construction Manager is preferred.

• Background in process improvement or automation.

• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office, Windows, and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.

• Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and assignments concurrently.

• Capability to successfully lead others in complex environments.

• Strong motivational skills and a high emotional intelligence quotient (EQ).

• Excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

• Occasional travel, up to 5%.

• Yardi certification or formal training in Voyager system administration is preferred.

• ITIL Foundation or a similar service management certification is preferred.
