Technical Analyst / Advisor, Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide technical support for MMIS and/or Medicaid Pharmacy environments.

• Create, maintain, and enhance intricate SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

• Conduct data analysis and root-cause assessments for system and production issues.

• Extract, analyze, reconcile, and verify data across various environments.

• Assist with performance optimization by examining queries, batch jobs, execution plans, and system throughput.

• Confirm the accuracy of converted and migrated data.

• Support and validate the synchronization of configurations from baseline to higher environments.

• Analyze and reconcile outputs from interfaces, extract files, reports, and database feeds.

• Validate X12 EDI transactions, such as 834, 837, 835, 820, and 999/277.

• Convert functional requirements into technical specifications and solution models.

• Analyze and document data flows, integration logic, and technical dependencies.

• Conduct feasibility assessments for requested features.

• Assist with SIT, UAT, parallel testing, and performance testing.

• Aid in test data preparation, environment readiness, validation scripts, and reconciliation.

• Analyze defects and implement and validate necessary fixes.

• Support deployment, cutover, hypercare, and resolution of post-production issues.

• Act as a technical liaison among business analysts, configuration analysts, developers, QA, conversion teams, and operations.

• Document and communicate technical findings, risks, root causes, and solutions.

• Collaborate on data mappings and validation of configurations.

• Mentor junior technical analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, or Healthcare Systems Analyst.

• Proficient SQL skills, including complex joins, transformations, analysis of large datasets, and stored procedures.

• Experience in supporting MMIS, Medicaid, Medicaid Pharmacy systems, or similar systems used in public health or human services.

• Strong grasp of healthcare data and Medicaid domains, including Member, Provider, Claims, Pharmacy, Finance, and Care Management.

• Experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation of technical outputs.

• Must reside within the United States.

• Video cameras are required to be on during all interviews and throughout the first week of orientation.
