This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Contribute to the development of proposals and Statements of Work.
• Assist in the delivery implementation and consulting services to fulfill Veeam Software solution design and deliverables.
• Provide comprehensive project guidance, encompassing project plans, schedules, communication strategies, resource allocation, and status reports.
• Support the assessment and design of solutions, addressing post-installation challenges.
• Aid in estimating the implementation effort for Veeam Software solutions.
• Produce white papers, solution guides, best practices, and tailored documentation.
• Conduct onsite knowledge transfer regarding Veeam Software solutions.
• Record configurations and document completed activities.
• Analyze existing environments and advise on optimal configurations for Veeam Software.
• Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support teams.
• Identify additional client-environment requirements that can be fulfilled with Veeam Software solutions.
• Provide suggestions for enhancements in processes and documentation.
• Travel overnight as necessary to achieve company goals and objectives.
• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent experience is required.
• Certification in Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or similar qualifications is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in technology is mandatory; a combination of education and relevant experience will be taken into account.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam’s core product offerings is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in consulting and project management is necessary.
• Significant knowledge and experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V is required.
• Familiarity with disruptive storage systems and technologies, including Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, and Veeam is advantageous.
• Practical experience with networking protocols and equipment, including Fibre Channel, Ethernet, and cloud services is needed.
• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures, such as EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, and Dell is required.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise applications including Exchange, SQL, and Oracle is essential.
• Knowledge in Data Management, Data Protection, and Data Analytics is required.
• Extensive experience in Data Center operations, Business Continuity, and Operating Systems is necessary.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously is essential.
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols is expected.
• Willingness to travel overnight; approximately 50% travel expected.
