Technical Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand a portfolio of dairy and food manufacturing clients throughout Victoria

• Serve as a technical expert in dairy cleaning and production process applications

• Assist technical service teams with troubleshooting, product testing, and customer projects

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and pinpoint opportunities for business expansion

• Generate leads by engaging with customers, conducting site visits, and participating in market activities

• Contribute to tenders, proposals, pricing submissions, and contract negotiations

• Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams to achieve customer objectives

• Comprehend customer operations, address challenges, and provide solutions that foster long-term value

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in dairy, food, beverage, chemicals, or similar manufacturing sectors

• Technical qualifications or relevant industry experience in a related field

• Proven experience in account management, sales, technical service, or customer-facing positions

• Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities

• A proactive mindset towards business development and recognizing growth opportunities

• Capability to influence, negotiate, and engage with customers at various levels

• Knowledge of dairy processing or food manufacturing (highly valued)

• Experience in project management or leadership roles (highly valued)

• Familiarity with supporting technical cleaning or production process applications (highly valued)
