Team Leader – HELOC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate security documents for completeness and document requirements.

• Submit security documents to the relevant governmental authorities.

• Confirm the accuracy of client-supplied documents during the account creation phase.

• Aid in the preparation and submission of account closing documents.

• Support other departments with document requests and maintain records.

• Lead or mentor a team within a document processing, mortgage, title, or loan operations setting.

• Manage service level agreements (SLAs), quality metrics, and escalation procedures for the team.

• Collaborate directly with Legal, Compliance, title companies, and county recorders.

• Strategize coverage across different time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in US Loan or Mortgage operations.

• At least 2+ years in a leadership, supervisory, or team management role.

• Extensive, hands-on knowledge in Liens, Deed of Trust, Vesting, and HELOC Refi processing.

• Proven experience in coaching or managing teams in document processing, mortgage, title, or loan operations.

• Comfortable with owning SLAs, quality metrics, and team escalation paths.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, particularly with Legal, Compliance, title companies, and county recorders.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in written English.

• Familiarity with customer communication and task management tools, Google Drive, and Email.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in financial services.

• Willingness to work during US Pacific time from 9 AM to 7 PM, including a 1-hour break.

• Open to working in the US time zone.

• Comfortable using a Time Tracking Application.
