Team Lead, Retraining – IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main contact for instructors involved in retraining programs.

• Lead and nurture a team of instructors focused on IT retraining, emphasizing IT specialist qualifications.

• Encourage and facilitate the professional and personal development of employees.

• Ensure the quality of instruction and take responsibility for it.

• Continuously innovate teaching concepts and formats.

• Supervise the creation, enhancement, and updating of educational materials for IT retraining programs.

• Provide support for IT continuing education programs as necessary.

• Collaborate with other departments to enhance workflows, IHK coordination, processes, and offerings.

• Assist retraining participants throughout classes, project work, and the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training, preferably in the IT sector, or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience in IHK-funded retraining and instruction, ideally in supporting and training IT specialists.

• Practical professional experience in the IT industry.

• Strong knowledge in at least one of the following domains: software development, IT infrastructure, data analysis, process management, or digitalization.

• Excellent teaching and communication abilities.

• Approachable, respectful, and participant-centered approach.

• Proficient in German, both spoken and written.

• Leadership experience or experience in mentoring and developing instructors.

• AEVO (AdA) certificate, Train the Trainer qualification, or a comparable educational credential.

• Familiarity with digital learning formats and learning management systems.

• Experience in creating and producing educational content, such as teaching materials, learning assessments, exams, and exercises.

• Willingness and capability to work remotely from another EU country for up to six weeks annually.
