TeachKind Program Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate and assist in the creation of innovative features and activities for the TeachKind website.

• Evaluate TeachKind’s visibility and effectiveness on educational platforms such as Teachers Pay Teachers and Kahoot.

• Support media-related initiatives, including the promotion of vegan food sponsorships, contests, and awards for educators, schools, and districts.

• Create imaginative approaches to integrate kindness-to-animals messages and activities into PreK-5 classrooms.

• Collaborate with the TeachKind team and Production department to develop downloadable and printed resources for educators.

• Investigate teaching news, educational trends, and pertinent topics for PreK-5 education.

• Establish and nurture relationships with PreK-5 teachers through digital outreach and email communication.

• Pursue speaking engagements with elementary teachers and administrators and prepare necessary presentations.

• Review literature aimed at PreK-5 students.

• Organize and participate in educational conferences and other TeachKind events.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience teaching in a K-5 classroom environment.

• Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, thrive under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously and effectively collaborate with team members.

• Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Asana, Word, Excel, TPT, or Kahoot is advantageous.

• Understanding and endorsement of PETA’s philosophy, campaigns, and animal liberation topics.

• Commitment to the organization's goals, including maintaining a vegan lifestyle.

• Willingness and capability to travel for conferences.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
