Teaching Assistant, Data Center Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist approximately 50 learners as part of a comprehensive virtual training class

• Deliver both synchronous and asynchronous support to learners

• Oversee Pumble channels and promptly address learner inquiries

• Follow up with learners after live sessions

• Facilitate breakout rooms during lectures when necessary

• Help ensure session continuity in case the Lead Instructor encounters technical issues or is unable to deliver the lecture

• Encourage discussions by asking questions and sharing pertinent links

• Review labs, projects, extended cases, and various educational materials

• Conduct up to six individual office hours weekly via Zoom or Google Meet

• Evaluate learner assignments within seven days of submission

• Provide feedback to Correlation One through weekly reports

• Submit weekly summaries detailing accomplishments, challenges, and learner insights by Sunday

• Participate in weekly staff meetings and scheduled meetings with the camera on

• Attend mandatory pre-program TA onboarding sessions

• Join assigned 2.5-hour lectures on a rotating schedule

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in physical data centers or similar environments

• Experience in mentoring or supervising, even if lacking prior teaching experience

• A strong desire to assist students in advancing their careers into data roles

• Empathy, flexibility, and patience

• A passion for engaging with diverse learners who are new to the subject matter

• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills

• Exceptional communication abilities

• Capability to engage and support adult learners from various backgrounds

• A keen interest in aiding learners in transitioning to careers in data center operations and infrastructure

• A+ or Network+ certification is an advantage, though not mandatory
