Teacher, Practitioner and Researcher – Online Facilitation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert guidance to groups of 25–30 undergraduate online learners.

• Assist students with academic writing, research, and effective time management.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions.

• Direct students to relevant reference materials.

• Evaluate assessments and provide detailed feedback.

• Oversee discussion forums.

• Offer proactive, timely, and personalized assistance for student inquiries and challenges.

• Communicate with students through email, phone calls, and online sessions.

• Proven experience as an online educator.

• In-depth knowledge of educational data analysis.

• Familiarity with the Australian Education System.

• Proficiency in metacognitive teaching methods.

• Expertise in data-driven instruction and lesson planning.

• Experience with data-informed practices.

• Knowledge of Assessment for Learning (AfL).

• Appreciation of cultural diversity.

• Commitment to evidence-based teaching methodologies.

• Skills in data analysis.

• Competence in behaviorist management strategies.

• Ability to critically analyze research literature.

• Capability to conduct synoptic literature reviews.

• Understanding of the Sustainability Cross-Curriculum Priority.

• Doctoral degree or Master's Degree in Teaching and/or relevant discipline area, or equivalent accreditation and standing.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant secondary school teaching, research, and/or professional experience within the last 10 years.

• Proficient in the English language.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Access to a functional laptop.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection (>10 MBPS).

• Ability to quickly adapt to and utilize technology platforms, including the host university’s LMS and LINC trac.

• Availability from 5 pm to 10 pm daily.
