Teacher of the Visually Impaired, Certification Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction to students and assist them in completing their courses.

• Deliver the school district's curriculum using the designated virtual platform.

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.

• Document student progress effectively.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is present with the students.

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Develop strategies to engage students and cultivate strong learning relationships.

• Design lesson plans that are in line with the curriculum for the class.

• Monitor and assess student grades and overall performance.

• Choose job assignments through the educator portal based on certification and availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification is mandatory.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Must possess an active teaching certification issued by a USA state.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching experience is necessary.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is essential.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection is required.

• Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration is expected.

• A background check is required as part of the application process.

• Previous online teaching experience is considered an advantage.
