This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
β’ Provide virtual instruction to students and assist them in completing their courses.
β’ Deliver the school district's curriculum using the designated virtual platform.
β’ Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.
β’ Document student progress effectively.
β’ Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is present with the students.
β’ Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.
β’ Develop strategies to engage students and cultivate strong learning relationships.
β’ Design lesson plans that are in line with the curriculum for the class.
β’ Monitor and assess student grades and overall performance.
β’ Choose job assignments through the educator portal based on certification and availability.
β’ A valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification is mandatory.
β’ Authorization to work in the United States is required.
β’ Must possess an active teaching certification issued by a USA state.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching experience is necessary.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is essential.
β’ Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection is required.
β’ Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration is expected.
β’ A background check is required as part of the application process.
β’ Previous online teaching experience is considered an advantage.
β’ Access to an educator portal that allows educators to select available jobs that match their certification.
β’ Opportunities for immediate start dates based on placement availability.
