📋 Description

• Instruct Biology classes and provide support to students in this subject area

• Design and deliver captivating lessons that adhere to the relevant IGCSE and A-Level standards

• Ensure high-quality course materials, lesson plans, and resources are maintained within the LMS

• Assist academic leadership with quality assurance, learning walks, and standardization processes

• Develop, mentor, and onboard new Biology educators

• Participate in curriculum evaluations, assessment planning, and exam preparation activities

• Aid in post-exam analysis, interventions, and monitoring student progress

• Advocate for digital pedagogy, AI-supported learning, and the sharing of best practices

• Collaborate with colleagues across CGA’s international virtual campuses

• Promote student enrichment through Biology and science-related activities, competitions, and clubs

• Make a positive contribution to the broader academic and extracurricular life at CGA

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified educator with strong expertise in Biology

• Experience in teaching secondary-level Biology

• Familiarity with International GCSE (IGCSE) and A-Level programs

• Experience with Pearson Edexcel and/or Cambridge specifications is a plus

• Proficient in utilizing digital learning platforms and delivering exceptional online instruction

• Interest in innovative educational approaches, including the effective use of AI to enhance student learning

• Ability to support, mentor, and develop fellow teachers

• Organized and data-driven

• Dedication to maintaining high academic standards

• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

• Willingness to engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader CGA community

• Must be located in, or capable of effectively working within, a New Zealand or Australia time zone
