Task Order Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the project manager for a significant and intricate task order or a collection of task orders that impact the same system.

• Support the Program Manager in collaborating with the Government Contracting Officer, task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and representatives from customer agencies.

• Oversee specific task orders and ensure that technical solutions and timelines are executed promptly.

• Facilitate the adoption of Agile methodology by delivery teams and support development activities.

• Create processes for managing a portfolio of work in an Agile manner.

• Propel strategic organizational transformation for the adoption of Agile practices.

• Foster an Agile culture by utilizing Agile and Lean methodologies and frameworks.

• Allow stakeholders to access precise and up-to-date project or program status without hindering delivery.

• Implement tools and techniques related to team roles, behaviors, structure and culture, Agile ceremonies and practices, knowledge transfer, program management, cross-team coordination, and governance of digital service delivery.

• Ensure that key metrics and delivery requirements are clearly defined and consistently maintained.

• Train staff to coach others.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an IT-II security clearance or possess a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).

• Basic Federal Clearance prerequisites include U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies.

• Required to have Project Management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or another recognized certification.

• Must be a Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach or have an equivalent Scrum/Agile Coach certification.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sectors within IT and/or consulting fields.

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Experience in delivering multiple Agile projects and overcoming obstacles using the appropriate Agile project management methodology.

• Experience in defining the roadmap with the Product Owner and translating it into user stories.

• Experience in prioritizing user stories within the product backlog.

• Proven experience managing a multi-disciplinary team.

• Familiarity with testing to ensure quality standards are met.
