This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Enhance design and develop new business applications and information systems solutions by merging technical and business requirements.
• Act as a technical designer to determine the best solutions and generate technical specifications within the coding environment.
• Connect the needs of business analysts and architectural definitions to technical solutions.
• Lead and assist in significant Utilization Management and Care Management projects.
• Convert intricate business and operational requirements into scalable technological solutions.
• Implement healthcare interoperability standards and frameworks such as FHIR and Da Vinci.
• Work collaboratively with external vendors and cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Manage production operations and user incidents.
• Engage in technical bridge calls.
• Provide support for scheduled after-hours and weekend maintenance activities to guarantee system stability and performance.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses with 7 years of experience in Information Technology OR 9 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Familiarity with application configuration.
• Understanding of Big Data Analytics, including HAVeN, HADOOP, Autonomy, and Vertica.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS technologies.
• Proficiency in integration technologies such as Tibco, Informatica, and CAS.
• Experience with mobile technologies including PhoneGap, iOS, Android, Java, and HTML5.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, including BASH, Perl, Python, and Ruby.
• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture, including SOAP and REST.
• Proficient in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, and C#.
• Experience in rapid prototyping.
• Skills in requirements definition and management.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and iterative development.
• Ability to manage system performance.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills.
• Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT.
