Systems Engineering Advisor II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, execution, and management of complex systems infrastructure.

• Create and sustain system documentation, including configurations, operations, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Track system performance and apply performance enhancement strategies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate new technologies and systems.

• Perform system evaluations and enforce security protocols.

• Offer advanced technical support and advice to guarantee system reliability.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in systems engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in systems engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in system design and implementation.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in both Linux and Windows server environments.

• At least 3 years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• At least 3 years of experience using automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.

• 6 years of a relevant combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military service.

• Must possess valid and unrestricted work authorization in the U.S.

• Candidates needing current or future sponsorship will not be considered.

• Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.

• Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
