This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the design, development, integration, and implementation of intricate motion products and systems.
• Ensure alignment with customer specifications, design criteria, and performance objectives.
• Work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams to comprehend application requirements.
• Convert requirements into technical solutions while enhancing overall system efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate both technical and operational risks.
• Aid in system architecture choices, product integration, and problem-solving efforts.
• Establish and carry out verification and validation processes.
• Offer technical support and guidance to engineering teams.
• Ensure product compliance, successful project completion, and customer satisfaction.
• Engage in travel to support customer interactions, supplier or vendor meetings, internal business assessments, product development tasks, and cross-site collaborations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Over 7 years of experience in systems engineering, motion control, mechatronics, automation, or a similar product development setting.
• Profound understanding of motion control technologies, including stepper, servo, and piezo systems.
• Familiarity with linear and rotary encoders, motor drivers, controllers, communication protocols, and relevant software applications.
• Capability to address complex technical issues, make informed engineering choices, and navigate uncertainty.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and mentoring abilities.
• Proven history of influencing others, driving results, effectively prioritizing tasks, and establishing trust through collaboration and technical leadership.
• Flexibility to work in an office, engineering lab, production, or customer environment as necessary.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and utilize hands for operating a computer, testing equipment, tools, or product components.
• Capacity to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with appropriate assistance when required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods during lab, production, testing, or customer-related activities.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
