Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, which encompasses hardware allocation, account setup and removal, and revocation of access.

• Take ownership of endpoint management and ensure the security posture for company laptops.

• Administer the network infrastructure for both office and remote connectivity, including VPN, Wi-Fi, and firewall configurations.

• Keep an up-to-date asset inventory and manage vendor relationships regarding hardware and software acquisition.

• Develop and enforce access control policies that comply with SOC 2 and other regulatory standards.

• Monitor system uptime and address internal IT support tickets and incidents.

• Assist in internal audits and security assessments by providing necessary documentation and evidence.

• Assess and implement new internal tools as the company expands.

• Report directly to the CTO and take responsibility for the health, security, and reliability of internal IT and infrastructure systems.

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee hardware, SaaS provisioning, network and endpoint security, along with maintaining internal systems uptime.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator, IT Administrator, or a comparable role.

• Proficient in administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, as well as managing an SSO/identity provider.

• Solid understanding of networking principles, including VPN, DNS, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks pertinent to the fintech or crypto sectors, especially SOC 2.

• Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours to support a global remote team is considered a plus.

• Previous experience in the digital asset sector and within a startup or scaling company (Series A–C) is regarded as a plus.

• Experience in supporting a distributed, remote-first workforce is seen as advantageous.

• Prior exposure to the crypto, fintech, or other regulated industries is viewed as beneficial.
