
Senior System Administrator – Microsoft Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and implement Microsoft 365 functionalities within the organization
• Enhance the performance of Microsoft platforms while addressing failing automations, platform sprawl, and technical debt
• Develop solutions that meet or surpass business requirements using SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure
• Monitor development progress utilizing Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools
• Collaborate with the business to maintain a prioritized project backlog
• Advocate for the adoption of Microsoft 365 services and support a community of citizen developers
• Create, update, and document policies, practices, and governance controls
• Establish and uphold best practices for development on Microsoft platforms
• Track feature releases, modifications, and bugs associated with Microsoft platforms
• Provide support and guidance to junior teammates and assist in resolving escalated issues
• Oversee and delegate tasks to junior systems administrators and contractors
• Supervise the work carried out by junior teammates and contractors
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree related to the position or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum of five years in a system administration-related role(s)
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Platforms, including SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure
• Daily administration of SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure, including policy and configuration modifications
• Experience in managing the synchronization and sharing of substantial data volumes using OneDrive
• Advanced proficiency in managing SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure via PowerShell
• Familiarity with ISACA and SANS Frameworks
• Capability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Skill in organizing and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to deliver customer service in a team setting
• Competence in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business and technology-related documents, procedures, and journals
• Capability to draft procedure manuals
• Ability to train less experienced team members and address their inquiries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based tools, and third-party applications

• Availability to work primarily during business hours, Monday to Friday
