This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Gather engineering drawings and technical datasheets from both internal and external sources for modeling and analytical tasks.
• Keep well-organized records of drawings, specifications, and equipment information.
• Monitor studies conducted internally and externally, providing necessary information or data inputs to ensure timelines are met.
• Engage in team meetings and actively participate in technical discussions under the mentorship of senior engineers.
• Acquire knowledge and apply PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and PSLF software.
• Assist in the development and validation of models for solar, wind, and battery projects.
• Oversee interconnection requirements and document their effects for internal utilization.
• Draft reports, presentations, and communications for review by senior staff.
• Contribute to renewable energy and transmission initiatives within the Engineering and Construction department.
• Report directly to the onsite manager.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (mandatory).
• A keen interest in power systems, renewable energy, and transmission planning.
• Enthusiasm for learning power system analysis tools and modeling methodologies.
