System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Influence the design of integrations, domain boundaries, system architecture, and platform progression throughout Auditdata’s SaaS product range.

• Establish and uphold Manage’s integration strategy encompassing REST, events, APIs, and data feeds.

• Create real-time, on-demand, and hybrid integration patterns.

• Lead technical workshops with clients and partners.

• Ensure integrations align with domain boundaries, data contracts, and platform security standards.

• Oversee message contracts, event schemas, versioning, and error-handling frameworks.

• Implement security protocols utilizing OAuth2, mTLS, Azure AD, and Key Vault.

• Manage monitoring, observability, tracking, retries, dead-letter queues, and integration reliability.

• Act as a technical consultant for designated domains.

• Shape domain models, bounded contexts, aggregates, and integration points.

• Specify APIs and event contracts across microservices and cross-domain workflows.

• Assess epics and initiatives for architectural viability and service ownership.

• Assist teams with high-level design, technology choices, and architectural frameworks.

• Engage in architecture reviews and platform governance.

• Mentor teams on Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, and engineering methodologies.

• Maintain architecture diagrams, specifications, interface documentation, and ADRs.

• Design and manage a secure, efficient, and cost-effective multi-tenancy model.

• Contribute to the long-term architectural vision and platform strategy.

• Take part in pre-sales, technical scoping, and initial solution shaping.

• Aid in troubleshooting and enhancing performance for complex integrations and distributed systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey architectural decisions to leadership and engineering teams.

• Experience with integration architectures, such as Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, REST APIs, and Webhooks.

• Hands-on knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Strong grasp of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture principles.

• Proven track record of creating high-quality technical documentation and diagrams using tools like Miro, Lucid, C4, and Event Catalog.

• Comfortable engaging in customer-facing technical discussions.

• Robust background in Azure Cloud services.

• Capability to enforce architectural standards through ADRs, reviews, and quality gates.

• Familiarity with governance, audit logging, and proactive system health monitoring.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Delivery teams.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred: Over 10 years in software engineering, including more than 5 years in architectural roles within enterprise SaaS.

• Demonstrated experience in modernizing or commercializing legacy platforms into scalable, multi-tenant solutions.

• Proven success in designing enterprise-grade integrations.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

• Nice-to-have: Experience with MassTransit.

• Nice-to-have: Practical experience with AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based architectures.

• Nice-to-have: Azure Cloud certifications.

• Nice-to-have: Understanding of security and compliance for medical or regulated data, including HIPAA and GDPR.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with .NET and React.
