This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Formulate and implement the long-term vision and growth strategy for the Consumer Direct Division.
• Set annual goals for production, revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Discover avenues to broaden product offerings, enhance customer acquisition channels, and improve operational capabilities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure divisional objectives align with organizational goals.
• Lead and motivate high-performing Consumer Direct sales teams across the nation.
• Propel loan origination volume, pull-through rates, profitability, and customer acquisition efforts.
• Establish performance metrics, KPIs, compensation strategies, and measures of accountability.
• Monitor pipeline health, conversion ratios, funded volume, and sales productivity.
• Partner with marketing and lead generation teams to optimize lead flow and conversion performance.
• Oversee operational performance, scalability, and efficiency across the division.
• Collaborate with fulfillment, processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing teams to enhance cycle times and customer satisfaction.
• Implement process enhancements and automation initiatives to boost productivity and lower costs.
• Ensure consistent application of best practices throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Maintain accountability for divisional P&L performance.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, staffing models, and capacity planning strategies.
• Analyze production trends, margins, expenses, and profitability metrics.
• Provide regular business performance updates to executive leadership.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain mortgage professionals and leadership talent.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance, collaboration, and customer service.
• Offer coaching and mentorship to sales managers, operational leaders, and emerging talent.
• Spearhead succession planning and organizational development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, agency, investor, and company regulations.
• Advocate for responsible lending and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Quality Control, and Risk Management teams to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Promote continuous improvement in quality, audit performance, and customer outcomes.
• Champion a top-tier borrower experience throughout the mortgage process.
• Track customer satisfaction, retention, and reputation metrics.
• Assess and implement technology solutions that enhance borrower engagement and streamline the business process.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in mortgage banking.
• Extensive experience managing a Consumer Direct, Call Center, Inside Sales, or Digital Mortgage platform.
• Proven success in overseeing large-scale mortgage production teams and multi-tiered leadership structures.
• Established history of driving revenue growth while enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.
• Strong knowledge of agency, government, conventional, jumbo, and non-QM mortgage products.
• In-depth understanding of mortgage compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Outstanding analytical, financial, and strategic planning abilities.
• Strong leadership presence, capable of influencing and inspiring teams at all levels.
• Experience with mortgage technology, LOS platforms, CRM systems, and performance analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field is preferred.
