This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco, +1 more country.
• Take charge of the regional commercial strategy and the execution of the Annual Operating Plan for Surgical Innovations, Acute Care & Monitoring, and Endoscopy.
• Convert business objectives into distinct action plans for countries, portfolios, and distributors.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the performance of the field team throughout Indirect Africa.
• Establish performance standards, boost commercial capabilities, and ensure uniform execution across various markets.
• Oversee distributor performance through systematic business reviews, forecasting, pipeline management, inventory planning, pricing discipline, and agreed-upon corrective measures.
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities within Core Surgical, Endoscopy, Patient Monitoring, and Respiratory Interventions.
• Allocate resources effectively to markets, customers, and therapies that present the greatest potential.
• Cultivate relationships with key clients, clinical leaders, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the adoption of therapies, educational initiatives, tender processes, and strategic alliances.
• Collaborate with marketing, market development, finance, supply chain, regulatory, clinical, legal, and compliance teams.
• Facilitate new product launches and ensure dependable market execution.
• Uphold standards of ethics, compliance, data integrity, and operational discipline.
• Deliver precise forecasts, business insights, and updates to leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, engineering, healthcare, or a related field.
• Significant commercial experience in medical devices, healthcare, or a similar regulated sector, with responsibility for sales performance across various markets.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and/or complex distributor networks.
• Capability to coach teams and influence partners across diverse cultures and regions.
• Strong skills in business planning, forecasting, pipeline management, tender execution, pricing, and financial performance management.
• Proficiency in business English, with Arabic and/or French as mandatory language requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Indirect Africa.
• A strong dedication to ethical conduct, compliance, and inclusive leadership.
• Preferred experience in Surgical Innovations, Acute Care & Monitoring, Endoscopy, or related portfolios.
• Familiarity with distributor-led markets in Africa is preferred.
• An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
