This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Deliver remote assistance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and investigation of Trane Digital Systems.
• Assist the Upper Midwest Region's Digital and Controls services.
• Facilitate commissioning, programming, graphics updates, communication links, end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing for digital agreement clients.
• Document digital analytics, verify sequences of operations, and execute related support functions.
• Service products and equipment on assigned projects while identifying, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and systems issues remotely at client locations.
• Collaborate with the team leader and customer to comprehend requirements for remote services and repairs.
• Analyze building layouts, anticipate issues, collect analytics, and coordinate necessary on-site work.
• Stay updated on Trane products, including installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure the security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by documenting usage, wear, and conditions.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach, adaptability, and teamwork.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent, or a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is mandatory.
• Generally requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC/Controls.
• Preferred 5-7 years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Competence in using handheld computers (e.g., Smartphone, iPad).
• Previous experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems is preferred.
• Ability to work from 7 AM to 4 PM local time.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• This is a Safety Sensitive role; passing additional drug screening may be required.
