This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote assistance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and analysis of Trane Digital Systems.

• Provide support for the Digital and Controls offerings in the Upper Midwest Region.

• Assist in the commissioning, programming, and updating of graphics and communication links.

• Conduct end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing for clients with digital agreements.

• Document digital analytics, verify sequences of operation, and carry out related support tasks.

• Service products and equipment for designated projects.

• Identify, diagnose, and remotely resolve equipment and system problems at client sites.

• Collaborate with team leaders and customers to ascertain requirements for remote services and repairs.

• Review building layouts, anticipate issues, collect analytics, and coordinate necessary on-site work.

• Stay updated on Trane products, including installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.

• Uphold safety standards and ensure security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets.

• Track asset usage, wear, and condition.

• Maintain the flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including the possibility of overnight stays.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC/Controls is typically required.

• 5–7 years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) is preferred.

• Proficient operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

• Working proficiency with portable devices such as smartphones and iPads.

• Previous experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems is preferred.

• Technical school or formal training is preferred.

• Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.

• Must be available to work from 7 AM to 4 PM local time.

• This is a safety-sensitive role; passing additional drug screening may be required.
