This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote inspections, troubleshooting, and programming of customer Building Automation Systems (BAS).

• Utilize Trane’s cloud-based remote access to evaluate BAS and convey findings and recommendations to clients.

• Collaborate with the Digital Services team to identify and execute Energy Conservation Methods (ECMs) and optimization opportunities for client sites.

• Engage with customers regarding the status of their systems while generating reports.

• Offer customer support for emergency inquiries and triage controls-related calls.

• Assist field technicians with controls-related challenges on job sites.

• Provide support to internal teams regarding technical inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls.

• Technical School or formal training is preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software is essential.

• Working familiarity with handheld devices such as smartphones and iPads.

• Previous experience with DDC control systems is necessary.

• Knowledge of networking and IT is preferred.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

• Self-driven and capable of performing effectively without direct oversight.

• Strong organizational abilities are essential.

• High level of computer proficiency is required.

• Safety-sensitive position; may necessitate passing additional drug screenings.
