Supply Chain Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design enterprise supply chain scenarios that encompass large-scale demand planning, multi-tier supplier networks, and intricate logistics or procurement cycles for Fortune 500 clients.

• Develop projects that address sourcing and procurement strategies, inventory optimization, distribution and logistics network design, supplier risk management, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).

• Create supply chain and operations scenarios utilizing enterprise tools such as SAP, Oracle SCM, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, and enterprise TMS/WMS platforms.

• Implement Lean/Six Sigma principles, network optimization modeling, and risk-adjusted sourcing approaches.

• Generate reference sourcing plans, network strategies, and executive-level supply chain presentations.

• Compose rubrics that differentiate genuine enterprise supply chain insight from standard textbook or framework responses.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within a Fortune 500 manufacturer, retailer, or logistics provider, or within a Fortune 500 supply chain/operations organization.

• Direct management of Fortune 500 supplier relationships, distribution networks, or procurement initiatives.

• Proficiency in enterprise supply chain tools and methodologies.

• Familiarity with Fortune 500 sourcing, procurement, and vendor contract review processes.

• Experience with SAP, Oracle SCM, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, and enterprise TMS/WMS platforms.

• Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma and network optimization modeling.

• Knowledge of risk-adjusted sourcing strategies.

• Previous experience in authoring rubrics, supply chain training materials, or operations documentation is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.
