Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team and project management team to deliver timely insights on global market information, trends, and pricing research.

• Coordinate with the project team to provide factory and supplier information and requirements to the sales and marketing teams.

• Assist the supply chain team by conducting research and analysis on global supply chain trends, particularly in commodities and company-focused products.

• Help in identifying the most competitive countries for selected commodities.

• Carry out market and sector research on the firm’s target industries, including key stakeholders, trends, and regulations to pinpoint targets for business development initiatives.

• Generate documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations.

• Support the sales team by responding to inquiries related to the supply chain.

• Clarify the information needed by the sales team to develop solutions alongside the supply chain and project management team.

• Aid the team with research on sales targets.

• Assist in drafting supply chain documentation as requested by the marketing and sales departments.

• Update daily and weekly KPI figures, along with action plans and improvements discussed in meetings.

• A strong willingness to learn, particularly regarding related industries such as mining, construction, and power.

• Previous work experience in a start-up company, management or consulting industry, or a sales-oriented company is preferred but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated strong customer relationship management skills and/or business development capabilities.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and on a flexible schedule.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Aptitude to collaborate in teams with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
