This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the accuracy targets for book-versus-physical inventory across all global locations.
• Detect, assess, and address inventory loss throughout the supply chain.
• Implement the global cycle count strategy effectively.
• Supervise counts and audit procedures in various facilities and with 3PL partners.
• Manage the governance model for inventory adjustments.
• Facilitate cross-functional root-cause analysis for systemic variances.
• Uphold SOX-compliant inventory controls, which include approval thresholds, adjustment audit trails, and duty segregation.
• Decrease the volume of unresolved adjustments quarter over quarter by utilizing measurable targets.
• Ensure that WMS inventory records accurately mirror physical reality.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to rectify WMS data integrity issues, latency problems, and process inefficiencies.
• Create and maintain global inventory control SOPs, policies, procedures, escalation pathways, and training frameworks.
• Ensure consistent execution across both domestic and international nodes.
• Over 7 years of experience in inventory control, fulfillment operations, or supply chain within a high-volume retail, e-commerce, or logistics environment.
• Proven experience in maintaining SOX compliance for inventory processes, including managing control documentation and collaborating with internal/external audits.
• Extensive WMS knowledge, covering configuration, auditing, and troubleshooting of WMS inventory records.
• Demonstrated ability to develop global or multi-site SOPs from the ground up and promote their adoption across distributed teams.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL, spreadsheet reconciliation modeling, and interpreting inventory metrics.
• Experience in managing 3PL relationships and ensuring accountability from external partners.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
• Preferred: Experience working across international fulfillment nodes (APAC, EMEA, or global 3PL networks).
• Preferred: Knowledge of various WMS platforms.
• Preferred: Background in audit, finance-related inventory controls, or shrink investigations.
