This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement processes and strategies that facilitate supply planning with supplier partners.
• Manage and regulate inventory requirements alongside efficient ordering techniques.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance supplier fill rates, inventory stabilization, service levels, KPIs, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Direct suppliers on shipping requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with Commercial teams to address inventory shortages and supply chain challenges.
• Implement processes aimed at improving inbound operational metrics.
• Design policies and supplier scorecards that track performance metrics and KPIs.
• Gather supplier data and establish coordination processes that drive improvements in Supply Chain KPIs.
• Create metrics for supplier effectiveness and methods to enhance fill rates and customer experience.
• Oversee systems and reporting that yield actionable insights for supply planning.
• Lead and advocate for system development to increase utilization and automate processes.
• Monitor supplier compliance and develop controls, issue identification, and remediation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for manual processing and data collection to facilitate transactional automation.
• Drive resolution of issues and escalations for assigned suppliers, including RDC redistribution fulfillment, supplier fulfillment, seasonal planning, and management of excess inventory.
• Communicate actions and the associated bottom-line benefits to stakeholders.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with Commercial, GSC Merchandising, Field Operations, Business Technology, Field Merchandising, SBS, Finance, business unit leadership, and executive leadership teams.
• Provide vision and direction to stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree or six years of experience in foodservice, wholesale, or retail inventory management roles.
• Five years of experience in wholesale, foodservice distribution, or retail distribution.
• At least 4 years of management experience with multiple direct reports.
• Six years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Comprehensive understanding of the function, business strategies, company objectives, and external factors influencing Purchase Cost Variance Management.
• Advanced analytical and communication abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Capability to work effectively within a heavily matrixed environment.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel up to 5 percent of the time.
