Supply Chain Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee strategic sourcing and supplier management for components and materials utilized in Pano AI hardware products.

• Identify and assess potential suppliers.

• Negotiate and finalize vendor agreements, including Master Supply Agreements, ensuring advantageous terms and pricing.

• Manage cost objectives, lead times, and availability of materials.

• Assess supply risks and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Oversee supplier performance, capability enhancement, cost management, and quality improvements.

• Collaborate with Hardware, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to evaluate manufacturing service needs.

• Create cost models for devices and equipment to monitor expenditures and pinpoint cost-reduction opportunities.

• Ensure adherence to relevant export and import regulations.

• Track supply chain conditions and establish continuity plans.

• Provide management with insights on global supply chain issues, risks, and pricing trends.

• Lead the "Buy American" compliance initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing.

• Over 6 years of total professional experience in business, manufacturing, or technology sectors.

• Familiarity with contract management and contracts.

• Experience in EMS management.

• Proficient in project management.

• Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Understanding of outsourced manufacturing service models.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• BA or BS degree from an accredited institution.

• Experience in start-up environments or similarly fast-paced and dynamic settings.

• Proven track record in selecting and managing vendors for complex custom sub-assemblies, contract manufacturing partnerships, or other high-complexity strategic collaborations.
