📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate strategic opportunities for leadership in Category Management and key stakeholders.

• Facilitate collaborative initiatives with various Supply Chain functions and resources.

• Utilize strategic negotiation skills to deliver value beyond mere pricing of products or services.

• Spearhead strategic contract negotiations that encompass financial value as well as business terms and conditions.

• Initiate, develop, and oversee Requests For Proposals (RFPs).

• Analyze, interpret, and convert data into easily communicable information.

• Bridge strategy to outcomes by understanding organizational needs and supplier motivations.

• Engage in and potentially lead the development and ongoing enhancement of Category Management processes.

• Comply with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to contracting and procurement.

• Plan and execute recurring tasks using established procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

• A minimum of five years of relevant experience is necessary, including progressive experience in sourcing and contract negotiation, with extensive involvement in developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, or equivalent experience in project management or business advisory roles.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is required.

• A Master’s degree, paired with three years of relevant experience, is acceptable.

• Certification in Supply Chain, project management, or contracting is preferred.
